I was born and raised in McComb, MS with my 10 siblings, as well as numerous animals and plenty of woods to play in. I currently live in Jackson, MS with my two cats and my vast collection of coffee mugs.
I currently work in Jackson as an Instructional Technologist. I earned my B.A. from Millsaps College in English and Secondary Education, with a minor in Communications Studies. I am currently working towards earning my Masters in Library and Information Sciences. I hope to bring this wide array of knowledge from different disciplines into my teaching practices this year.
When I am not working for the library where I am employed and not working on graduate school assignments, I enjoy doing crafts. Embroidery, sewing, painting, and building small pieces of furniture take up most of my spare time. I also love gardening and tending to my 50 potted plants, and I have just taken up the practice of composting.
